Meet Dr Stuart Lawrence

Hello, I’m Stuart Lawrence. I qualified in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) and Masters (MSc) in Chiropractic from Bournemouth, the first and most prestigious Chiropractic college in Europe. I have always been around multiple types of animals since a child and realised from many years treating humans, that small problems, when not treated, can become more serious, requiring invasive and often expensive medical or veterinary treatment. I realised that this translated to my favourite animals...dogs.

After a lot of training I decided to break my week up, only seeing humans 3 days a week, to spend more time working with animals to help them lead their best lives just as I have been doing with humans for over 25 years! I am registered with RAMP and the Prestigious British Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

Back in 2015, while talking with a chiropractic colleague about my old pointer, Eva, and her arthritis, I began exploring veterinary chiropractic. I trained at Options for Animals UK in Newcastle — the first RAMP-accredited provider — chosen for its high-level education, open only to those with veterinary or chiropractic degrees. I went on to pass the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association exam, earning membership of the British Veterinary Chiropractic Association (BVCA), the gold standard in the UK.
